The cringe sensation is our psyche’s version of “soreness.” Like exercising in the gym, that day-after burn is where we facilitate growth. While uncomfortable, if we can withstand that momentary discomfort, the urge to run away “when this doesn’t FEEL GOOD”; that is to say when it doesn’t FEEL FAMILIAR, we can truly learn something about our true nature.
